From the very beginning, Argos Translations focused on the most important resource in this industry; people. Be it our clients, our 1000+ translators, or our almost 100 in-house staff, Argos Translations aims to do everything to satisfy all of their needs.

Departments

Management

Kevin Fountoukidis successfully created, managed and cultivated Argos Translations to become one of Central and Eastern Europe’s largest translation companies. Since the company’s inception in 1996, Kevin has overseen virtually all of the departments and made sure to streamline all of the translation processes and procedures to improve not only the consistency of Argos Translations translation projects, but also to provide direction and guidance to both the company and employees.

Account Managers

Your first line of contact with Argos Translations. They will inform you about the translation and localization services we provide, clarify any preliminary uncertainties, provide you with background information and resources about Argos Translations as well as link you to appropriate Project Managers who will then oversee your project.

Project Management

The heart of the company. Project Managers are the teams responsible for making sure that translation and localization projects are completed within designated deadlines, that all the parts adhere to clients’ specifications and that information flows smoothly between the clients, translators, proofreaders and QA specialists.

Translators

The people solely and completely devoted and dedicated to making sure that your company’s translation project is understood in the language of your choice. These are the skilled, experienced and trained specialists who do everything to get your project completed as you had requested.

Quality Assurance

This is the department responsible for making certain that all outgoing projects are of the highest quality and meet all the standards set forth by Argos Translations, ISO and the translation industry. They ’police’ every translation to prevent any irregularities.

Localization

Team responsible for handling all projects dealing with the localization of software, websites, multimedia and graphics. They are knowledgeable in multiple platforms, various software applications and desktop publishing suites.

Desktop Publishing (DTP)

The creative bunch. This is the group of people responsible for setting up, laying out and correctly adapting all of the graphics, designs and texts on every image that is included in a given project.

Human Resources

Along with the Project Management Department, this is one of the oldest department at Argos Translations. Responsible for looking into (and after) employee affairs, internal procedures and being avidly involved in recruiting new talent. Human Resources at Argos Translations keeps all of the ’behind the scenes’ activities organized and in focus.

Marketing

This is the department responsible for all of Argos Translations marketing activities including: sponsorships, advertisements, event coordination, website maintenance, public relations, emails, document development, logos, and the creation of any designs pertaining to Argos Translations image and so forth.
