On Oct. 1st of 2008, Argos Translations redesigned its corporate website. The change includes a new website domain for our U.S. activities (www.argosmultilingual.com), and follows a name change of our U.S. division to: Argos Multilingual.
The new website is redesigned with functionality in mind. It has new sections for MLVs, an extended downloads section that includes: videos, project briefs, interactive maps of projects, and an interactive workflow graph. In the future the website will also house a flash presentation of our DTP services along with a virtual tour of our headquarters.
Argos Translations hopes that a restructured navigation bar will enhance the user experience while the updated content will provide invaluable information for those seeking to learn more about professional translations and localization services.

In November of 2007, Argos Translations entered a nation-wide contest organized by the Rzeczpospolita Newspaper aimed at finding “The Best Company for Working Mothers” in Poland. After a rigorous application process that included both surveys and interviews with the majority of Argos Translations female employees, Argos Translations along with a handful of other businesses reached the final stage of the contest and was awarded the title of the “Best Company for Working Mothers”.
Fifty percent of Argos Translations management and more than half of Argos Translations full-time staff are females and the company works hard to offer wide benefits (including an extended leave of absence period with guaranteed job security), and a supportive environment for working mothers.

With the aim of capitalizing on the many positive changes launched in 2007, this month Argos Translations began revamping its brand image with the introduction of a new company logo. The new symbol has been designed to embody the different production processes involved in Argos Translations projects and the company’s three core services; translation, localization and DTP.
The change also marks a shift in direction for Argos Translations Corporate Identity with the aim of connecting Argos Translations marketing materials, advertising and website, to the multifaceted relationship-focused, client-oriented and international structure of the company.
In early 2007, after over a decade as one of the leading CEE translation companies, Argos Translations began its expansion into new territories by opening a new office in Chicago, USA. The U.S. was seen as a natural step towards improving communication response times with our clients in the Americas and around the world.
By operating facilities in the USA and Europe, Argos Translations maintains a 24-hour open office regardless of client time-zone.
