ISO 9001:2000 Certification

Argos Translations is proud of the fact that in 2003 the company attained its ISO certification. In order to promote continuous improvement of our translation processes, Argos has dedicated a specific department to deal directly with Quality Assurance dilemmas, process improvements and procedural maintenance.

We continually strive to make our translation and localization processes as efficient as possible all the while improving the quality of translated work, translation services and localization projects. At Argos, we strongly believe that through appropriate directives we can entirely eliminate errors and mistakes from our delivered projects. In so doing, not only is Argos able to offer higher quality translation services, but the company can do so at reasonable prices due to efficient processes that are put in effect.

Additional Quality Assurance Check

One way in which Argos was able to improve its translation processes in order to obtain close to optimal quality results over all of its translations, all the while keeping costs low, was through implementation of an additional quality assurance check at the end of every translation and/or localization project.

Argos understands that no one is perfect and even the best translators can make small mistakes sometimes. However, in order to eliminate such instances and keep such variances to a minimum, we added a 2nd Quality Assurance check so as to create and maintain consistently error-free translations. In so doing, Argos was able to lower costs (i.e. revision costs, additional per hour charges for further translations, opportunity costs and time to completion) and increase quality while offering our services at attractive prices.
