Argos Translations was commissioned by a leading medical device manufacturer to complete a medical device translation of their atherectomy system’s documentation. An atherectomy system is a catheter-based angioplasty device that uses diamond-coated elliptical burr at the tip of a flexible drive. It is indicated for patients with coronary artery disease. The atherectomy system translation project required a CTD translation (Common Technical Documents) of over 7,000 words of content from English into Polish in three days.
Argos utilized a standard translation workflow process: translation + review + QA for this CTD translation project. However, in order to ensure maximum accuracy, a second QA was used to double check all text prior to delivery. The CTD translation covered device description, indication of use, limitations and restrictions, warnings, clinical use instructions and symbol descriptions.
Upon delivery, our client was happy with the translations’ level of quality and production times.
