Project Brief:
Argos Translations regularly completes translation projects for electronics manufacturers. One such company, a producer of wide format products for copy, print and scanning that develops a line of award-winning low to high volume black and white, colors copiers and multi-functional products, requested Argos to translate content for their multifunctional digital system. The electronics translation consisted of general content adaptation, review and quality assurance from English into Polish.
The project amounted to almost 100,000 words of content, many repetitions and was handled with Translation Memory tools thanks to the file format delivered by our client. Most of the non-repeating content, around 9,000 words, was divided into 6 parts, all ttx files and one additional xls file.
In order to complete the assignment on time and provide consistent and accurate translations, Argos assigned a team of translators, proofreaders and localization specialists to work on this project. It took the team 23 days to complete all work, plus 2 additional days for proofreading, finishing ahead of schedule and delivering the project back to our client ahead of deadline.
