Project Brief:

Argos Translations is regularly commissioned to complete various document translation projects for the printing industry. One such project revolved around a navigation device instruction manual translation along with review and Quality Assurance into 20 languages: Polish, German, Hungarian, Finnish, Danish, Hebrew, Bulgarian, Russian, Romanian, French, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Macedonian and Serbian.

Because of a large amount of language translations requested for this assignment, Argos utilized a separate and skilled translator and reviewer for each language, along with a single QA specialist to ensure consistency across all, final language versions. Our client also requested that the navigation translation project utilize glossaries and text would respect translation length limits to fit on final pages without changing layout/size.

In an effort to provide quick turnaround, Argos’ PM coordinated all work so that all the 20 language translations were completed in 3 working days. Our client was extremely satisfied with the end result.
