Project Brief:

Argos Translations regularly completes a variety of translation projects for technology companies around the world. One such tech company recently contacted Argos with an unusual request for translation services and voice over services needed to adapt a series of old interviews regarding World War 2. While the project was unusual for a technological company, it was not a theme/topic that Argos wasn’t familiar with.

So, as the project required transcription of English, German, Latvian, Lithuanian and Russian content along with a two stage translation into US English, Argos Translations set out to work assigning 5 linguists on transcription, 5 translators, a QA specialist and a proofreader. The Argos assigned team managed to complete the translation portion of the project that included over 1000 words, and the voice over portion that required 30 hours of transcription, in less than 3 months, well ahead the client mandated deadline.

The client was happy with the end result and the high quality material obtained from Argos Translations.
