Junior Software Engineer
Looking for a new challenge? Argos Translations is looking for IT professionals to fill the position of Junior Software Engineer in the localization department of the company’s Krakow Headquarters.
The Junior Software Engineer will be responsible for creating applications enhancing localization processes and operations of particular departments in the company.
Requirements:
- University degree
- Advanced knowledge of Visual Studio environment
- At least good programming skills in C, C++ and excellent skills in C#, .NET, proven by practical experience
- Knowledge of PHP, Perl, Python, SQL syntax; ability to write scripts and analyze code
- Knowledge of MySQL, Postgress, overall knowledge of CMS
- Ability to process XML and XSL files and knowledge of related tools (XMLSpy)
- Very good command of English
- Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively
- Stamina and flexibility to be able to work well under pressure
- Meticulousness, attention to details
Pluses:
- Experience in creating client-server applications
- Knowledge of text editing tools (jEdit, Notepad++)
- Knowledge of CAT tools (Trados, SDLX etc.)
