Description:
The Localization Engineer position is based upon close involvement with the DTP staff and the Localization Manager, requiring the ability to handle a wide variety of localization projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing small, medium and large-scale projects individually and as part of a team. The role involves accurately concluding technical translation and localization projects to ensure timely delivery of products and services. The position requires candidates to take on new challenges and responsibilities in addition to being able to make quick, autonomous and independent decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical thinking skills in order to effectively and efficiently complete projects while constantly corresponding with clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Localization Engineer
- Excellent command of the English language
- An excellent working knowledge of the following computer programs: Trados, SDLX, Alchemy Catalyst, RC-Wintrans
- Strong programming skills (HTML, JavaScript, VBA)
- Ability to quickly learn new software
- Analytical thinking skills
- Ability to make prompt and independent decisions
- Furthermore, candidates must possess exceptional organization and communication skills, as well as the stamina and flexibility to be able to work well under pressure
